Brewing recommendations:

Use clean, fresh, chemical-free water with some mineral content. Use our freshly roasted and just-ground coffee. Heat water between 195- and 205 degrees F. Keep brewing equipment clean. Store coffee beans in an airtight container away from light, heat, and moisture.

  • One 12 oz bag = about 25-30 8 oz cups of coffee
  • One 5 lb bag = 180 8 oz cups of brewed coffee

No idea what coffee tastes like

I'm giving the coffee a 4 out of 5, assuming it is good. Didn't get a taste since I ordered a bag as a gift for my daughter and it did not arrive in time to be included for Christmas unfortunately. I ordered the coffee on Dec. 7th and it arrived Dec. 26th, taking a total of 19 days to travel approximately 70 miles. I would recommend an onsite purchase if you are buying this as a gift. This is perhaps more appropriate as a "store review", but that link did not work.

Mixed beans for darker taste

Mixed Cerrado Gold and Classic 50/50 for an extra dark taste. Great coffee

good basic coffee

I like the Carolina Classic as a good, basic no frills coffee. Not really bold and strong and just a good all-around smooth coffee flavor. Always a nice change up from the flavored and bold coffees.
